- "Whatever gave you the impression, Miss Hurst, that I was remotely interested in your private life? This is a restaurant, not the Oprah Winfrey Show."
- ―Mr. Drake[src]
Mr. Drake was the manager at the restaurant where Jeannie Hurst worked.
The manager of an expensive restaurant, he had a short temper and did not hesitate to scold employees his disliked. This included Jeannie, when she spent time talking to Marty Hopkirk during her shift. However, after his death, she became frustrated with a rude customer and when Mr. Drake came to rebuke her, she handed in her notice by pouring dinner down his trousers.
Personality and traitsEdit
Mr. Drake was a stern, unpleasant man who frequently disciplined his staff. While he was correct to tell Jeannie off, his cold manner left much to be desired. He was also coldly stoic and professional, simply glaring in disbelief when he had a hot meal poured down his trousers.
